Danish Visitors Arrive On Chequer Hill

Today saw the visit of another class from our European Studies link school, - Christianshavns Gymnasium, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Miss O’Hare arranged for the students to participate in a range of classes and activities throughout the day. They worked with our Upper Sixth RS students, and had an A2 English lesson on the poetry of Séamus Heaney. In the afternoon they watched our wonderful Irish dancers perform, and every Danish student joined them in an attempt at the Waves of Tory dance!
The day finished with the grand finale of a rendition of the Kerry Polka, with a mixture of Pléaráca musicians and Danish musicians.
