Our Lady’s recently hosted the regional round of the Gael-Linn Irish Language Public Speaking Competition Abair. A Level and GCSE Irish students spoke on a range of issues, including animal cruelty, the recession, longevity, technology and weather forecasts.
Gael-Linn thanked Our Lady’s for hosting the event and congratulated the three A Level girls who took part in the competition, pictured: Orla McIlduff, who came 3rd, Natalia Mc Mahon and Gráinne Gordon.
