Fionnuala Loy has been selected for the Northern Ireland U19 Netball team. She is the first pupil from Our Lady's to be selected for N. Ireland.  She will now play in the SENA Championship in Wales.

A New Gaelic Football All Star

Katie Farrell, current Head Girl of Our Lady's Grammar School, has been awarded a College's Gaelic Football All Star.
 

This is the first time a pupil from Our Lady's has been selected. She plays in goals for the schools' U20 team who
are through to the Ulster Semi Final. She also plays for Rostrevor Ladies, is goalkeeper for the Down Senior and Minor Gaelic teams.  She started playing soccer two and a half years ago and plays for U19 N.I. soccer team, and Glentoran Belfast United.
 

Our Lady’s Grammar School – Shoot for Gold!

Our Lady’s Grammar School Netball Teams were delighted to be presented with new netball kits from Mrs Paula O’Hare Armstrong.  On Thursday 19^th January Mrs O’Hare Armstrong officially presented the kits to the teams from Our Lady’s Grammar school.  Sarah Armstrong accepted the kit on behalf of the squad.  The PE Department of Our Lady’s expressed their appreciation for the generous sponsorship of the kit for the players and her support of netball in the school.  Mrs O’Hare Armstrong wished the players every success in their endeavors in the future.

Our Lady’s Intermediate netball team have secured their place in the SELB Area Netball Finals this year. The team will meet a local team from St Mary’s High School in the netball final on Friday 28^th January.  The PE staff in Our Lady’s Grammar would like to thank Mrs Paula O’Hare Armstrong, Schools’ Netball League Secretary for the Southern Education and Library Board area for her organisation and management this season.
