BBC Enlists the Help of Our Lady's Students
Our Lady’s Irish students have teamed up with BBC NI Irish Language Unit to create blockbusters. Eight Irish students were selected to work with the BBC Northern Ireland Irish Language crew for a day.

As part of the Celtic Media Festival, held in Newry this year, their task was to adapt a classical film and recreate it through Irish. Accompanied by Miss O’ Hare, students took part in the whole production process: acting, screen-writing, directing and editing. The participants had the unique opportunity of working with professional camera equipment, and of receiving training from a BBC cameraman. They also worked with an expert theatrical consultant.
The films were premiered in the Canal Court Hotel.
