All-Ireland Success for Our Lady's Irish Drama

Our Lady’s Grammar are celebrating after winning the All-Ireland Irish School’s Drama Festival.  Their play Lios na Sídhe took the top prize in Mullingar.

After taking home the Premier Award in the local Newry heat, Our Lady’s continued their success at the Ulster Finals before winning their age group section in An Fhéile Náisiúnta.

The play Lios na Sídhe, written by teacher Mr Walter Bradley, has kept the 3rd and 4th Year actresses busy rehearsing for the last five months.  With dancing, music and many challenging lines to learn as Gaeilge, the students’ endeavours have been fully recognised with the title of All-Ireland Champions.
