A Level Exam Success for Our Lady's

A Very Special Day for the

Very Special Girls of Our Lady’s!

Pictured are the top students from Our Lady’s Grammar School who achieved outstanding academic excellence in their A Level examinations.

There was great joy and celebration in Our Lady’s as the A Level girls of 2009 opened their examination results.

“The girls performed magnificently”, said School Principal Ms Geraldine Pettigrew.  “We were delighted by our top 5 place in Northern Ireland last year and this year’s students have performed at an even higher level.  All examinations were passed and over 90% of the Year Group obtained three or more A – C Grades (the Northern Ireland Grammar School Average is 75%).  80% of all examinations taken were awarded the highest grades, Grade A or B”.

Ms Pettigrew continued “I am thrilled by the success of every girl in this lovely Year Group and I want to congratulate them all upon what they have achieved. I know that they will now move on with confidence to the next exciting stage of their lives.

I would like to thank the superb staff of Our Lady’s who have guided, inspired and supported the girls since their first year, the Primary Schools who lay the early foundations for such success and the families who give the girls, and the school, such support at all times.

Good luck to all of our wonderful young people in the future.”
