RSPB Visit to Our Lady's

The RSPB visited Our Lady's Grammar School during National Science week to raise awareness among pupils on the reintroduction of the red kite to County Down.
First year pupils were treated to a day of fun and games while gaining valuable knowledge on local birds and wildlife.
Karen Sheil spoke about Carlingford Lough, Newry and Mourne's own local Area of Scientific Interest. She intrigued the pupils telling them about the different kind of birds that are found around our area. They were able to make their own games and teach each other about the advantages of having such a spectacular habitat.
