Newry Feis Success for Plearaca
Plearaca, Our Lady's Grammar School traditional music group won the Kevin Devlin Memorial Cup at Newry Feis in the instrumental group competition.
Members Annie O'Brien, Ursula Savage, Marie Claire McEvoy, Marie Therese McCann, Martha Guiney, Mairead Savage, Meabh Smyth, Orla Kimberly, Martina O'Callaghan and Orla McAteer are pictured with music teacher Mrs Smyth.
Our Lady's pupil Meabh Smyth won the under 12 fiddle solo competition and also won the Henry Savage Perpetual Cup for the most promising fiddle player at Newry Feis.
