Superb GCSE Results for Our Lady’s Girls
Following the outstanding success of their A Level schoolmates earlier in August, the GCSE students of Our Lady’s Grammar School have themselves provided a terrific set of examination results.
42 of the year group obtained 8, 9 or 10 A*/A grades and 20 of the girls have achieved 10 A*/A Grades. The overall success rate was exceptionally high, with almost 60% of the year group obtaining at least 5A*/A grades.
Principal Ms Geraldine Pettigrew congratulated the girls, their families and the splendid staff of Our Lady’s, adding that it was wonderful to see the great success of students for ever school in Newry and in South Down and Armagh.
