SPECTACULAR A LEVEL SUCCESS FOR OUR LADY’S GIRLS
Following in the footsteps of those who have gone before them in previous years, the students of Our Lady’s Grammar School are once again celebrating outstanding success in their A Level Examinations.
According to School Principal Ms Geraldine Pettigrew the class of 2008 has achieved remarkable results.
“All of this year’s students have performed exceptionally well, with 90% of the Year Group obtaining at least three A – C grades (the N.I. Grammar School Average is 74%) and 84% of all examinations taken awarded Grade A or B.
40 students obtained at least 3 A Grades, 17 a least 4 A Grades and three girls, Anna Doherty, Patricia Murphy and Jennifer Maguire, obtained 5 A Grades.

These results place the school once again at the top of the Grammar School rankings, not only in Northern Ireland but also in the U.K.
The level of success achieved by all in the Year Group is absolutely superb and the girls deserve the highest praise.
They know how much thanks they owe to their families and to their teachers and all of the staff in Our Lady’s who have inspired and supported them throughout their years in school.
I would like to give my heartiest congratulations to all who have helped this year’s A Level students to fulfil their outstanding potential and I wish the girls great happiness and success as they move onto the next exciting stage of their lives.”
