ULSTER U16 CAMOGIE FINAL

The Ulster Final was a great match which Our Lady’s narrowly lost to St.MacNissis’s College Garron Tower.  However, the result was in the balance until the final minute as St.MacNissi’s only led by two points. Our Lady’s captain Megan O’Reilly had a terrific effort from 25 yards that skimmed the opposition post and the ball went upfield and St. MacNissi’s scored a goal to triumph by five points.

Nevertheless, the girls were a credit to the school displaying high levels of skill, tenacity and desire. Their team spirit and unity was remarked upon by the gallant victors and their coach! The scorers on the day were Megan O ‘Reilly, Orla Gribben, Aisling O’Hagan and Lauren McConville.  Below are some great action shots of the two teams with an excited coach shown on the wing.
