Our Lady's Girls Campaign for Fair Trade
As part of their efforts to get Fair Trade status for Newry City, the Newry Fair Trade Campaign Group last week held an event involving four local schools. The schools were Our Lady's, St Colman's, St Joseph's and St Mary's.
All the schools have agreed to get involved in the Fair Trade Poster Competition and the entries will be judged on Friday, March 9.
Vice-Chairman Paul Hoben was delighted with the feedback from the session held in Newry Arts Centre on Friday morning and is looking forward to getting other schools involved.
