Our Lady's Win Ladies Gaelic Football Title

Our Lady's Grammar School are the 2006-07 Down Schools' Under-16 Ladies' Football League Champions. In the final game they travelled to Kilkeel and defeated St. Louis Grammar School, Kilkeel, by five goals and six points to four goals and five points. The Championship was played on a league basis and both teams went into this final game with unbeaten records. Following the game Philip O'Hare presented the cup to Our Lady's Captain, Rebecca O'Reilly. In congratulating the winners Philip also paid tribute to the St. Louis team and said that they were gallant in defeat in a very exciting game.
