Primary Schools take part in ICT Training Scheme

For a number of years, A Level ICT students in Our Lady’s have taken part in a programme to pass on ICT skills to Primary 7 pupils from neighbouring primary schools.

During the week beginning 16th April, local children took part in the most recent of these training sessions.

The programme was highly successful with groups of children spending a few hours in Our Lady’s Grammar School being trained in various software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.

The A Level students were very well prepared for the training sessions with appropriate training materials and other work material for the children who thoroughly enjoyed the day and went away with a little more knowledge and a few more ICT skills.

Our Lady’s Grammar School would like to thank all those schools who took part in the training programme.
