2nd Win for Our Lady's
Our Lady’s v St. Mary’s High School
The second match for Our Lady’s Junior team, in the Newry & Mourne League was held in Our Lady’s. The home side fielded without two of their most influential players – captain and GA Maired Dyas and GK Bronach Hughes and they struggled to score goals, despite home advantage.
At half time Our Lady’s were ahead by 2 goals with the score reading 7-5. Our Lady’s more determined than ever in the second half. Melissa Maginn and Emma Dolan finally found their form and secured a second win for Our Lady’s by scoring 7 further goals between them. The game ended with a comprehensive win for the home side – 14 to 7.
Our Lady’s now have 4 points in the section.
Fionnuala Loy was outstanding in the second half, playing as G.D.
Marianne Savage was substituted by Shauna Mc Neill in the second half.
